IT Consultant · Artist · Storyteller
18 years of ERP consulting by day. Kerala Mural artistry, short fiction & contemplative blogging by soul.
Who I Am
I am Maheshwaran — an IT Consultant with 18 years of deep experience in ERP systems, and a practicing Kerala Mural artist who has been drawn to this ancient storytelling tradition since 2009.
The global pandemic became an unexpected gift: the stillness of WFH gave me the space to move from casual practice to genuine dedication. My murals are not decoration — they are meditations. Rooted in Hindu mythology, rendered in five naturally pigmented colours that have been the same for centuries.
Outside of paint and enterprise software, I write short fiction and keep an active blog — both expressions of the same quiet interior life that finds meaning in making things.
The Ancient Craft
Kerala Murals are a vibrant and ancient tradition of storytelling through colour, rooted in Hindu mythology. Five naturally sourced pigments — Sap Green, Black, Red, Yellow, and Burnt Sienna — are all that is needed to create scenes of cosmic grandeur. I began learning in 2009, and the art has been my quiet companion ever since. Today, Kerala Murals are finding new appreciation as they bring warmth and mythic depth to living spaces.
The Sacred Five Pigments

Professional Practice
With nearly two decades navigating the complexities of enterprise resource planning systems, I bring a rare combination of technical depth and the patient, pattern-seeking eye of an artist to every engagement.
I have worked across industries — helping organisations implement, optimise, and rethink their core business systems. The same discipline that guides a mural from rough sketch to finished mythology guides a consulting engagement: listen carefully, understand the full picture, execute with precision.
Beyond the Screen
A practitioner since 2009, working in the five natural pigments of this ancient mythological tradition. The pandemic years deepened this practice into something devotional.
The same impulse that draws me to narrative murals finds expression in fiction. Short stories — compressed, deliberate, and complete universes in miniature.
Writing as thinking. The blog is where ideas from both worlds — consulting and creativity — meet to explore questions that don't have simple answers.
